I got this predominantly for completed Lego sets - but also find it quite useful with my office equipment (especially mechanical keyboard) it has a good strong force to the blow (point to note - it will blow away anything not strongly built or attached).Good price and performance - recommended!
This corded air duster and vacuum is a surprisingly useful and versatile cleaning tool, ideal for keeping models, ornaments, keyboards, tools, and other intricate items free of dust and debris. It works primarily as an air duster, but by attaching the collection container to the opposite end, it converts into a small vacuum, making it a versatile little device for delicate cleaning jobs. The design is practical and easy to use, with a built-in power light on the duster side that helps illuminate darker or detailed areas while you work.It comes with two extension attachments for the vacuum mode, both of which feature brush fittings to help loosen stubborn dust. The round nozzle attachment also fits the duster side, giving you a bit of flexibility depending on the task. The unit is quite powerful for its size, and it handles most cleaning jobs with ease. The only thing missing is a narrower nozzle or precision attachment for the blower, similar to what you get with compressed air cans, which would make it even better for reaching smaller crevices or delicate components. That aside, it’s a solid, well-performing piece of kit that’s perfect for anyone wanting a reusable alternative to disposable air dusters.
I ordered this off Vine, not for brick models, but to use on woodturned items. It's a super high quality tool. Surprisingly so, to be honest. Having the dual function - blower and vacuum - is a great function, and it will get a lot of use. It's also ideal for keeping the workshop laptop clean of dust...which is a massive help! It comes with two well designed brushes, that retract to keep them clean, and a good range of fittings. It is actually very powerful, and I'm not sure that it wouldn't blow bricks away, but it claims that it won't. Lovely tool.
This is a powerful little air duster. While it's marketed as being specifically for brick models, it's basically just a red version of the electric dusters you'll see on sale for use with electronics. It does also come with some super soft bristle brushes that would be very useful for cleaning delicate models. As for the air duster itself, it functions just fine and does indeed work as a vacuum if you need that. It only has a single speed setting, but I always run my other electric air duster on high anyway so that's just fine with me.If you are using this for brick models, then I'd suggest making sure that any small pieces are well secured before turning it on. It has plenty of power and could easily send small parts flying if they're loose.
I've had a number of handheld portable dust blowers, and they've varied from tornado to gentle puff. This definitely leans towards tornado, but has the downsides of being corded. This means it's only really for those with single hobby rather than those that want to use it for multiple reasons. It certainly blows the dust out of the pc, and is great for block sets that are prone to gathering dust. However, the lack of easy portability means it isn't great if your sets are all over the house. However, you can't fault its power.
